The Dallas Stars are hoping to play a home game at the Alcatraz theme park for the first time in nearly 40 years.
The team will host the Los Angeles Kings and Arizona Coyotes on Thursday in a game at 6:30 p.m.
The Stars will then play the New York Rangers on Friday and Saturday.
The Stars will play the Kings twice, on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12, but did not play them this season due to a back injury sustained by defenseman Jason Demers.
The Rangers have not played in Dallas since the season-ending 2-1 loss to the Los Angels on Dec. 21, 1995.
They will be playing the first game at Dallas’ new $1.9 billion downtown stadium.
The game will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest and the Dallas Stars radio network.
