Alabama football tickets: What you need to know about the SEC title game | The Post’s Jason Wilde


The SEC Championship Game has become the most talked about sporting event of the year and it has become a lot more expensive.

Here are some of the most expensive tickets you can buy at your favorite schools this year.


Georgia Bulldogs tickets at Georgia Dome: $5,100.

Georgia’s ticket prices aren’t exactly the highest, but the Bulldogs will take home the national title if they win their division and play the winner of the ACC/Big Ten championship game on Saturday.


Georgia home-and-home with Georgia Tech: $7,200.

Georgia is hosting a home game in Atlanta against a ranked opponent in the ACC and Tech is hosting home games against Georgia and Auburn in 2017.


Auburn home- and-home: $8,200 for the season.

Auburn’s home games are against Texas A&M and Tennessee and its away games are with Kentucky, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State.


Tennessee home-home, SEC championship game: $9,200 per seat.

Tennessee has played its last two games at Tennessee Tech, a game in the state capital, Nashville.


Alabama home-game: $10,000 per seat, per seat for both home and away games.

Alabama has played five of its last seven SEC home games at the Georgia Dome.


Tennessee game: The Vols are hosting Alabama on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.


LSU home- game: Alabama will play LSU on Sunday at 3 p.y. 8.

Tennessee vs. Texas A & M: The SEC title will be played on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The Aggies are in the middle of a three-game road trip to close out the season, including home games with Florida, Auburn and Florida State.

The Longhorns are coming off a 38-31 win at Alabama in 2016.


LSU vs. Kentucky: The Wildcats will host the Longhorns on Saturday for the first time since 2010.

The series between the two schools was decided by just one point in the last meeting in 2012.


Florida vs. LSU: The Gators will play the Tigers on Saturday in Gainesville, Florida.

This will be the last game of the regular season between the schools, which is expected to result in a rematch of last year’s SEC title.


Tennessee at Auburn: The Titans will play Auburn at 3:30 p.,m.

Saturday, Dec. 1 in Oxford, Alabama.


Alabama vs. Georgia: The Crimson Tide will take on Georgia on Saturday afternoon at 5:30:00 p.M.

The Bulldogs will host LSU at 1:30 a.m., and the game will air nationally on ESPN.


Florida at Auburn and Georgia: A win by Auburn would give Florida the No. 1 seed in the SEC and a home-win over Georgia would give the Gators the No 4 seed in its own division.


Tennessee will host Texas A.& M on Saturday: The Volunteers will take a four-game losing streak to the Longhorn program into Saturday’s game in Oxford.


Auburn vs. Tennessee: The Tigers will play Tennessee on Saturday night, Dec, 4 at 3 a.l.m..

The game would be televised by ESPN, and would be the first SEC game to be played in Tennessee since 2012.


LSU will play Texas A.: LSU would be in the midst of a four game losing streak and is tied for the third-longest losing streak in the conference behind the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide.

The Tigers are currently in the top four in the BCS standings and would take a game off the Longhogs for the top spot.


Georgia will host Auburn: Georgia will play a ranked rival for the second time this season, as the Bulldogs take on Auburn at 2 p.l.,m.

in Oxford on Saturday and would host LSU a week later at 2:30 in Oxford and 3:45 in Birmingham.


Tennessee, Auburn to face each other in 2017: The winner of this year’s title game will take the SEC crown and host the SEC championship.

The winner will face each of the other two teams in the title game.


Tennessee and Auburn will meet in the 2019 SEC Championship: The game between the No 1 and No. 2 seeds will be held at a neutral site.

Tennessee hosts a home playoff game against Alabama on Dec. 18 and Auburn hosts a road game against Georgia on Jan. 7 in Birmingham, Alabama, and the winner takes home the title.


Alabama and Tennessee will meet for the title in 2019: The second game of a nonconference slate will be scheduled in 2019.

The SEC championship will be decided in 2019 when Alabama hosts Tennessee and the Tigers host Texas.


Auburn and Tennessee would play each other for the SEC Championship in 2020: Auburn will play Alabama on Nov. 10 in Oxford for the final SEC title
